Health Insurance Coverage Predicts Health Care Use Among Latine Immigrants in Two Policy Contexts

Analyzing electronic health records from La Clínica del Pueblo, this study found that years with more insurance coverage led to more medical visits — and that D.C.'s universal health insurance option produced notably better access than neighboring states without it.
