Grants & Contracts Manager - Full-time
Bilingual Preferred
Position Emphasis: Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, and in collaboration with the Executive Director, the Grants & Contracts Manager supervises all of La Clínica's grant preparation and reporting activities. Supervises staff that prepares and manages proposals for grants in accordance with funder's policies and legal requirements. Prepares proposals and administers major contracts. Manages the staff and administrative operations of the Grants & Contracts Office. Creates a balanced funding mix of donor sources and funding requests tailored to fulfill the mission of La Clinica. Minimum Education Requirement: BA/BS degree. Minimum Qualifications: Three years experience in the field, with at least three years of significant work experience in non-profit organizations. Able to demonstrate experience in successful submission of federal and state grant applications. Previous supervisory, project management and budget management required. Knowledge of applicable laws/policies/principles of the field. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work on several tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Bilingual-Spanish/ English, preferred. MS Office computer experience. Raisers Edge software, a plus.
